Rose Aguilar McMillin was born and raised in the Hutto, Texas area, the home of the hustlin' hippos. It is said that everyone has a story to tell. After more than forty years of writing, Rose would like to share her stories with the world. She has completed two books. Helios and Lunes, the Beginning is her debut children's book and the first of a series of three. She has also written a young adult novel, Waiting on the Edge of Darkness. Currently, she is working on the second book for each series. When she is not writing stories about hippos, she is collecting them. Rose lives in Hutto with her husband and youngest son.
